Each release is tied to one physical object, one permanent Record No., and one exact set of photographs. Supplier references remain internal; the public record never moves to a different stone.

A Stone Record begins with the exact object—not a category, a representative image, or a promise. We document what can be observed, distinguish claims from verification, and preserve the record after the piece is found.
Our first release remains in preparation. No piece is published until its images and record belong to the same physical object.
The Standard
Facts do not need a mythology.
A story may begin with a line, veil, inclusion, or movement of light. The factual record stays separate: concise, traceable, and clear about the limits of what is known.

Claims keep their source.
Mineral identity, natural or lab-grown status, treatment, metal, and origin are recorded only to the level the available evidence supports. A supplier statement is not presented as independent verification.

Measurements are repeated.
Weight and dimensions are checked after the piece is received. Material differences, visible damage, and conditions that may affect care are recorded before the piece is prepared for release.

The record outlives the sale.
When a piece is found, its page does not disappear. The original images, factual record, story, and Found status remain in the Archive; buyer information stays private unless explicitly authorized.
Evidence has a boundary
Known. Stated. Unverified.
Observed
Measurements, visible characteristics, construction, condition, and the behavior of the piece under stated lighting.
Documented
A certificate is attached only when its number, photograph, measurements, weight, or identifying features can be matched to the exact piece.
Supplier-stated
When a material, treatment, or origin claim has not been independently confirmed, the record says so. Unknown information remains unknown.
Never promised
We do not assign medical, financial, protective, romantic, or guaranteed personal outcomes to a stone.
No representative photos. No substituted stone.
Every published view must belong to the object offered on that page. Editing may correct exposure or white balance; it must not remove natural features, hide damage, or change the color beyond recognition.
